Coon Hollow Wool and Sheep

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul.
Psalms 23:1,2,3

The Leicesters are an old breed sheep producing long, fine, and delightfully curly wool. They are big, hardy, and often bear triplets in lambing season. I find them to be an easy animal to deal with. Their high quality fiber is an essential aspect for my inspiration and production. I have enjoyed breeding the Blue Face to the Border Leicester to achieve the ultimate in fineness, length, and workability. Their wool is always a pleasure to prepare and utilize. To spin or to felt, that is the question.
