Our picked mohair has become increasingly popular as the years have gone by. More fiber artists wish to create beautiful mohair yarns that show off the distinguishing attributes particular to the mohair fiber. Many spinners also use our picked mohair as it is easily combined with other fibers they might wish to use for their own beautiful blends. The difference between using roving or picked mohair for spinning is the overall design you wish to achieve with regards to your finished product. I use both depending on the desired effect. Our picked mohair ranges in price with consideration towards color. Most will be $2.50 per ounce unless it is a specialty order of a deep red or black natural color kid fleece. The upper right hand picture displays some of our natural colors.
